Therapy for Grief & Loss, Trauma, and relationships

Do you work with clients who are dealing with changing roles and responsibilties with their aging parents?

Would you like to have a better understanding of what emotional and physical issues impact older adults as they age so you can help your clients better support their loved one's changing needs?

Are you interested in serving an older adult population or working with families in the aging stage?

If so, I hope you will join me in this 2 hr workshop that offers Ethics CEUS!

This workshop will explore common ethical issues that rise in the aging process and help you consider how you might support your clients in navigating or anticipating these issues as they arise with their parents. Through an experiential exercise, participants will gain understanding into what it is like for an aging person to lose parts of their lives as they require more support. We will discuss the impact of loss on mental health, relationships and overall quality of life for older adults.

Supplies needed: for this workshop you will need 20 strips of paper or 20 post-it notes handy, and a pen.
