This workshop is designed for clinicians who have completed a Board Approved Clinical Supervision Course, and desire additional support and confidence around ethical delivery and structure of supervision for individuals or groups. This course is meant to help give you the nuts & bolts to get your clinical supervision practice started!  Participation in this 3-hour offering will satisfy the  half of the BHEC requirement of  supervision CEUs for LCSW-S licensure. To register, click the button above and complete the form.

Becoming a Board Approved Supervisor is a big step, but often times people lack the confidence or tools to begin incorporating supervision as an aspect of their practice. New Supervisors can feel intimidated by the Board Rules, are unsure about what structure and forms are needed, and lack awareness about tools to put in place for organization. If it's been a while since you have completed your supervision course and you feel you would benefit from a refresher and some additional support to get started accepting supervisees, this workshop is for you!

Some questions that will be answered in this training:

  • How do I create an ethical supervision plan with supervisees?
  • Where can I find supervisees and how do I ethically screen them?
  • What is required for a supervision plan now that the BHEC has approved changes to the rules?
  • How can I create trusting relationships with supervisees and reduce my risk?
  • What are the actual things I need to have in place to onboard a supervisee?
  • It's been a while since I had a supervision course...where do I start?
  • What is the best format to use for groups, and how do I set and collect payment for supervision?
  • How do I describe my supervision style when I haven't actually supervised anyone yet?
  • How can I create forms and contracts to use with supervisees?
